I'm a web developer based in Belgrade. I build custom websites, online stores, and web applications in React and Next.js. So far I've delivered ten projects that are still live today, from a used-textbook store to a booking application.

How this started

Before writing code, I worked in medicine, where a mistake is never abstract, it shows immediately.

That instinct, to check rather than guess, carried straight into how I build software. I started building for the web in 2021 and have worked at it continuously since.

Medicine left me with a discipline a purely technical path rarely teaches: code gets tested, not assumed.

The stack, and why

I build in React and Next.js, with TypeScript and Tailwind. That is not a fashion choice.

Next.js
Renders pages on the server, so they load fast, and that is something Google notices when it ranks a page.
TypeScript
Catches mistakes in the code before a client ever sees them, not after.
Tailwind
Keeps colour, spacing, and type on a fixed set of tokens, so the design stays consistent from page to page instead of drifting as each one gets built by hand.

Nothing I build sits on a bought theme, which means there is no plugin that can stop working in six months and take part of the site down with it.

The common approach on the Serbian market is a bought theme plus a dozen plugins holding the site together. That can work for a while, but every added plugin is another point that can break, and none of them are code you wrote or control.

How the work runs

From the first call to launch, one person runs the project, me. There is no project manager between you and the code, so every change gets resolved directly, without being relayed through a third person. During the build you do not get screenshots, you get a real link to the working site, so you can open it yourself and see how it looks.

That freelance way of working has a cost worth stating honestly: one person has finite capacity, there is a queue, and the date in a quote is a real deadline, not an optimistic guess. Questions get answered the same day, because there is no one else I would have to pass your message to.

Where I work

The studio runs out of Belgrade, though clients come from across Serbia and abroad, and every project runs the same way, fully remote. Location does not change the timeline or the price, the same rules apply whether the project is down the street or on another continent. Calls and check-ins happen over video or phone, at a time that works for you.
